Update: Gold Line trains every 20 minutes to Pasadena stations; no delays in service to East Los Angeles

Update 5 a.m. Trains running every 20 minutes on Metro Gold Line in Pasadena area from Union Station to Sierra Madre Villa stations. Trains using single track between Indiana location and Allen Station to bypass stranded trains at Fillmore and Del Mar. No delays for trains serving East Los Angeles stations.
 
Update 9:59 p.m. : Looks like damage to overhead wire system that supplies power to trains was caused by malfunctioning feeder cable. Update 7:59 p.m. : Train operators have performed inspections on all trains. No further damage to overhead wire system was discovered. Estimated repair time is not yet determined. Updates to follow.

Damage to overhead wire system that supplies power to Metro Gold Line trains causing major delays of 30 minutes or more in Pasadena area. Trains are single tracking between Highland Park and Lake stations since 6:20 p.m. The cause of the damage to the power system is not yet determined.
