Enough color for you? This image of the Piccadilly Circus tube entrance is actually a blend of five photos, each taken with a slightly differently aperture, i.e. the HDR method. The camera used was a Nikon D3X.

When you take HDR, you take different exposures, not apertures. Aperture would only adjust the level ob bokeh in the picture, and would do nothing to the color.
