A message from the Mayor on the 405 shutdown

Here is the new PSA from the Office of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa on the 405 shutdown over the Sepulveda Pass that begins late Friday evening and is scheduled to last until 5 a.m. Monday.

    That depends on how the line were routed. If it were tunneled like the red line, (it should be), then it would not be a problem.

  2. In response to Y Fukuzawa, a rail line along the median of the 405 would also create “railmageddon” and no trains would be running along that corridor.

  3. Ugh, I’m getting sick hearing about carmageddon every single day.

    If we had a rail line that ran parallel to the 405 in the first place we wouldn’t be in this mess.
