Free shuttle rides between North Hollywood station and Bob Hope Airport

UPDATE 07/01/15: The free shuttle service is no longer offered on weekdays. During that time, BurbankBus now runs an all-day route between the Red Line station in NoHo and Bob Hope Airport in Burbank. A free shuttle is still offered on weekends and holidays. More information is available here.

Go Metro and Enjoy a Free SuperShuttle Ride to Bob Hope Airport

If your vacation departure is via Bob Hope Airport this summer, leave your car at home, save money and Go Metro. By taking the Metro Red, Orange or one of severeal bus lines to North Hollywood Station you can access free SuperShuttle service that will take you directly to Bob Hope Airport. And the shuttle ride is free!

The SuperShuttle service operates 6 a.m.-10 p.m. daily. You can call 1.800.224.7767 to reserve a van in advance, or call 818.558.3179 to request one without a reservation. The SuperShuttle will pick you up at the taxi zone on Lankershim Boulevard. To return to North Hollywood Station from the airport, go to the shuttle island in front of the airport terminal.

The Burbank-Glendale-Pasadena Airport Authority is funding the service to encourage the use of public transit to and from the airport.

Go Metro to and from Bob Hope Airport for your next vacation and leave your car at home. Save and leave the parking hassles behind.

  1. Interesting and creative idea, particularly if you live in the SF Valley or along the Red Line. It offers an inexpensive public transit alternative to taking Metro to the LAX Flyaway, although the flyaway runs 24/7. Either way, it sure beats driving.
