Broadway in downtown L.A. has been closed between 4th and 6th due to some type of explosion this afternoon. Several bus lanes in that area are being re-routed and patrons should expect delays.

Best advice for traveling through the area: use the Red and Purple Line subway, although the 5th Street portal to the subway is closed.
