Go Metro Weekends, April 29 – May 1

Finish out April and ring in March by going Metro this weekend. Tonight, check out a free jazz celebration of Duke Elllington’s birthday at UCLA’s Fowler Museum. On Saturday the L.A. Times Festival of Books at USC is a must visit, and rife with transit options – there’s absolutely no excuse to drive to that one. Also on Saturday, there’s the 2011 Pasadena Doo Dah Parade and a chili cook-off for a great cause at the West Hollywood Barney’s Beanery. On Sunday head down to Union Station for another yummy edition of Truckit Fest.

All events are subject to change or maybe be sold out, please check with the venue before making plans.  To plan your trip and to check all other transit options, please consult Google Transit or the Metro Trip Planner.
