A key item concerning the Crewshaw/LAX Line on today’s Metro Board of Directors meeting agenda has been postponed until next month: a motion by Board Member Mark Ridley-Thomas to add a Leimert Park station and have tracks between 48th and 59th Street built underground.
Here’s a post from yesterday with more information on the motion. And here’s a link to an L.A. Times editorial that ran this morning opining that adding the underground segment to the project is expensive and unnecessary and that perhaps a planned station at Crenshaw and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard could be moved closer to Leimert Park.

According to the meeting agenda, the motion has been withdrawn.

agenda item 16 “withdrawn”
Hi Dennis;
The item is now scheduled to be considered at the May meeting. It is not “withdrawn” in the most literal sense.
