A key item concerning the Crewshaw/LAX Line on today’s Metro Board of Directors meeting agenda has been postponed until next month: a motion by Board Member Mark Ridley-Thomas to add a Leimert Park station and have tracks between 48th and 59th Street built underground.

Times editorial that ran this morning opining that adding the underground segment to the project is expensive and unnecessary and that perhaps a planned station at Crenshaw and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard could be moved closer to Leimert Park.
