Councilwoman Jan Perry (Los Angeles City Council District 9) and Metro invite you to a community meeting and workshop on proposed improvements at Adams Boulevard, including a new pedestrian plaza across the I-110 freeway just north of Adams Blvd., in support of the Metro ExpressLanes Demonstration Program. The meeting agenda is as follows:

•Welcome and Introductions (Councilwoman Jan Perry and Metro CEO Art Leahy)

•Metro ExpressLanes update and Adams Blvd. proposed improvements.

•Wrap-up and next steps.

The meeting details are as follows:

Date: Tuesday, April 5, 2011.

Time: 5:30 – 7:30 pm.

Location: Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital, Andrew Norman Hall, 2400 South Flower St., Los Angeles, CA 90007. Served by Metro Bus Lines 37, 38, 55, 81, 445, 460, 603, Metro Silver Line and Commuter Express Line 422. Parking is available on site.

Please let the security guard know you are attending the Metro ExpressLanes Community Meeting. A map with directions and parking information is posted after the jump. Spanish translation will be provided.

The Los Angeles Orthopaedic Hospital is conveniently located in Downtown Los Angeles, near the 110 (Harbor), 10 (Santa Monica), 101 (Hollywood) and 5 (Golden State) freeways. The hospital is right off of the 110 (Harbor) freeway at the Adams Bl exit.

The hospital address is: 2400 S Flower St, however, the hospital and parking lot entrance is on 23rd St near the corner of Flower St and 23rd St. The meeting will be held in the 5-story, gray and white building. You will see a sign on the outside of the building that reads Andrew Norman Hall. *Please let the security guard know you are attending the Metro ExpressLanes Community Meeting.

110 FREEWAY going SOUTH: Take the Adams Bl exit. At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn left on 23rd St. The hospital and parking lot entrance is on 23rd St. between Grand Av and Flower St. Turn right into the parking lot. There is a kiosk as you enter the driveway. The security guard will direct you to the building.

110 FREEWAY going NORTH: Take the Adams Bl exit. Turn right on Adams Bl, then left on Grand Av. Turn left at the first light which is 23rd St. The hospital and parking lot entrance is on 23rd St between Grand Av and Flower St. Turn left into the parking lot. There is a kiosk as you enter the driveway. The security guard will direct you to the building.

10 FREEWAY going WEST: From the 10 freeway, exit at Grand Av. The exit puts you on 18th St. Stay on 18th St. Turn left on Grand Av. Turn right on 23rd St. The hospital and parking lot entrance is on 23rd St between Grand Av and Flower St. Turn left into the parking lot. There is a kiosk as you enter the driveway. The security guard will direct you to the building.

10 FREEWAY going EAST: From the 10 freeway, take Grand Av exit. You will be on 18th St, so take a right on Grand Av. Turn right on 23rd St. The hospital and parking lot entrance is on 23rd St between Grand Av and Flower St. Turn left into the parking lot. There is a kiosk as you enter the driveway. The security guard will direct you to the building.
