The funeral for Los Angeles Firefighter Glenn L. Allen is Friday morning at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in downtown Los Angeles. Firefighter Allen, 61, was killed on duty last week while fighting a house fire in the Hollywood Hills. He was a 36-year veteran of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Due to the funeral, there will be bus detours in the area of the Civic Center. There will be detours for the following lines: 2, 4, 10 (Rte. 48), 14 (Rte. 37), 30, 40, 42, 45, 55 (Rte. 355), 60, 70, 71, 76, 78 (Rte. 79), 81, 83, 84 (Rte. 68), 90 (Rte. 91), 92, 94, 96. 439, 445, 485, 487 (Rte. 489), 728, 730, 733, 740, 745, 770, 794 and the 910.

Passengers should look for signs about the detours in the area. In addition, passengers can request bus stops along the detours — and the bus will stop where it is safe to do so.
