Our “art of transit” series makes its first visit to Finland today, with the above sunset photo taken in Helsinki. Where’s the transit? Look in the background at the bridge, which is being crossed by the Helsinki Metro. Wikipedia, by the way, says the Helsinki Metro is the world’s northernmost Metro.
The photo was taken with a Canon EOS 350D with a 1/800th shutter speed, aperture of f/5.6, an ISO of 100 and a 35mm focal length.
To submit a photo or photos of something transportation-related, post them to Metro’s Flickr group or email them to sourcemetro@gmail.com. The photos we’ve featured can be seen in these galleries on Flickr. Or click on the ‘art of transit’ below.
