If you rode the Green Line this afternoon and noticed the train slowing down in the vicinity of the Vermont station, here’s why: a gray fox — or at least a critter resembling 0ne — was apparently spotted near the tracks yesterday. Wildlife officials have been trying to capture it.
The Green Line, of course, runs in the median of the 105 freeway. So it’s a bit of a mystery how a fox or any other animal could get into the rail right-of-way — or want to be there.
