Metro buses stood sentry along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Los Angeles as a fleet of presidential helicopters escorting President Obama in Marine One landed at the Sports Arena on Oct. 22, 2010. The buses formed an urban barricade as a safety measure directed by the Secret Service and the Los Angeles Police Dept. Law enforcement officials who also lined the area said the use of Marine One was planned to reduce street and freeway congestion that usually results from a presidential visit.

Metro Bus Operators deliver 15 Metro buses to serve as urban barricade that will shield landing of Marine One, the helicopter transporting President Obama to a rally at USC.
