There will be a mix of bus detours in effect this weekend for the 2010 AIDS Walk Los Angeles. The detours begin Saturday morning at 6 a.m. and continue to 6 p.m. on Sunday. The 10k (6.2 mile) AIDS Walk route, which begins and ends in West Hollywood Park, follows a path through West Hollywood and Hollywood.
Street closures to accommodate the AIDS Walk allow for event set-up and break-down as well as the walk itself, which officially begins at 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Detours in effect on Saturday for event set-up begin at 6 a.m. and affect Lines 10 (Route 48), 105, 220, 305, and 550.
Detours in effect on Sunday while the AIDS Walk is in progess affect Lines 2, 4, 10 (Rte. 48), 14, 105, 212 (Rte. 312), 217, 305, 550, and 704.
Detours in effect on Sunday for event break-down after the AIDS Walk concludes affect Lines 10 (Route 48), 105, 220, 305, and 550. The detours for event break-down are expected to be in effect until 6 p.m.
