I just got back from a long weekend in San Francisco and I’m a sucker for Golden Gate Bridge photos, so it was hard to resist this image — which, by the way, was taken with an iPhone 4. I also think Golden Gate photos serve as a good reminder that Marin County, on the bridge’s north end, didn’t want any part of the BART system back when it was being voted on and planned in the 1960s. That means the most direct route between Marin County and San Francisco is via either the private vehicle or the ferry.
