Go Metro Weekends, August 20-22

Another Metro weekend packed with events. Here’s a suggested itinerary: on Friday night take the Red Line to check out a film at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (take advantage of the $1 off Destination Discount), on Saturday take the Blue Line to Long Beach for the FREE Red Bull Flugtag (DIY aircraft crashing into the harbor? yes please) and then head back up to L.A. for a FREE concert in MacArthur Park across the street from the subway and on Sunday hop on a Metro bus and check out FREE Cirque du Soleil productions at The Grove.

Or, do something completely different! You’ve got options.

Have an event you’d like us to include? Shoot us an email at thesource@metro.net. Time and space constraints limit us from listing every accessible event in this city, but this curated list represents what we think is cool and easy to get to.

To plan your trip and to check all other transit options, please consult Google Transit or the Metro Trip Planner.
