Today in the art of transit

Photo by Jonathan C., via Flickr

The only thing this photo from Toronto needs is a bus to go along with the streetcar, minivan and cyclist — all neatly captured in one frame earlier this month by Jonathan C.

In an email to Metro about the image, Jonathan wrote:

Just some quick background info on the image: most streetcar routes in Toronto run right on the street without a separated right of way. This was a shot of the 505 Dundas streetcar at Dundas St. and University Ave. in downtown Toronto. I though it was interesting to capture the 3 modes of traffic seen on our streets.

If you would like to a submit a photo or photos of something transportation-related, post them to Metro’s Flickr group or email them to sourcemetro@gmail.com. The photos we’ve featured can be seen in these galleries on Flickr. Or click on the ‘art of transit’ below to view our daily posts.
