Monday — that, is today July 26 — is the final day for members of the public to comment on the draft environmental impact study/report for the Wilshire bus lane project.
This is the best way to have your voice heard in the planning process for the project, which proposes to add about 9.5 miles of peak hour bus lanes to Wilshire Boulevard in the city of Los Angeles from the Westside to just west of downtown. Metro officials say the bus lanes could cut rush hour bus travel times by 25 percent.
Here’s a recent post looking at the project and here’s a link to the project page on the Metro website.
