Today in the art of transit

Passengers on the Moscow Metro. Photo by Frank Ward, via Flickr. Click above to see the photo and more information on Flickr.

Frank Ward, the photographer of this splendid photo, titled this capture “Three Generations.” It was taken in 2008 on Moscow’s subway system and I found it while trolling for some good subway shots on Flickr.

Frank used a Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro take the photo. He used a 1/125 second shutter release, an aperture of f/3.5, focal length of 15 mm and ISO setting of 400.

If you would like to a submit a photo or photos of something transportation-related for our daily ‘art of transit’ feature, post them to Metro’s Flickr group or email them to sourcemetro@gmail.com. We’re striving to feature top-notch photography and we’d love to use more photos of our transportation systems here in So Cal.

I’ve taken all the photos that we’ve featured in our daily ‘art of transit’ posts and added them to galleries on Flickr that you can peruse. Or you can click on the ‘art of transit’ below to view our daily posts.
