Today in the art of transit

The colors and framing of this photo by Bill Sutton caught my eye. The caption on Flickr:

The only way for Haitian locals to get to Labadee is by boat. The mountains surrounding this private beach on Haiti are nearly impenetrable. This shot taken from the deck of the FREEDOM OF THE SEAS cruise ship.

If you have a transit or transportation-oriented photo you would like us to consider for The Source, you can post it to Metro’s Flickr group or email it to us at thesource@metro.net. As I’ve written in recent days, we’re not looking for anything particular — just something artful involving how people get from Point A to Point B, both in the L.A. area and elsewhere around the planet.
