I’m ashamed to admit that I’m really late on this one, but for those of you who don’t know ESPN has hired Chef Roy Choi of Kogi fame to cook up gourmet treats for their roving, world cup screening ESPN Match Truck. The food truck has been rolling around town since last Monday and it’s made stops near many of Metro’s rail stations: Hollywood/Highland, Civic Center, MacArthur Park, Union Station, Pershing Square, Wilshire/Western and North Hollywood.
Whew. Like I said, I’m sorry I’m late on this.
The good news is that the truck will be rolling around for another week – and there’s at least two confirmed plans to stop near the Pershing Square Red/Purple Line Station. There’s also two days where the schedule has yet to be determined, and if history is any guide there’s a chance the truck will be stopping near Metro stations on those days.
Here’s the scheduled stops:
- Thursday June 24
11am – 2pm
Red/Purple Line Pershing Square Station
[add to Google Calendar] - Monday June 28
6am – 2pm
Red/Purple Line Pershing Square Station
