Following on the heels of Metro’s new Bicycle Roundtable meetings, the agency will host a Bicycle Design Workshop tomorrow (Wednesday, June 2) to give planners, engineers and bicycle advocates in L.A. County a primer on design principles and practices for bicycle planning.

The workshop, called “Designing Streets to Increase Bicycling,” will be run by none other than bicycle consultant John Ciccarelli of Bicycle Solutions. He’ll discuss ways to increase bicycle ridership through better on-street design.  To RSVP for the workshop, e-mail Metro.
