Tomorrow, Wednesday May 19th, Metro and the L.A. Bicycle Coalition team up to host a ride through Downtown L.A.
The ride starts near Union Station, the regional rail hub that links Metrolink, Amtrak, and Metro’s Red, Purple and Gold Line to Downtown. From there riders will navigate Downtown’s streets discovering the best ways to get to Downtown’s major employment sites, civic centers, entertainment venues and Metro stations.
The route will take riders through Little Tokyo, the Historic Core, South Park, the Financial District and Civic Center. Here’s a map of the route for those who are curious.
Anyone with a bike is encouraged to participate
Riders should meet at the South Plaza of Olvera Street, right across from Union Station, at 8 a.m. and plan to depart on the 40-minute loop ride at 8:30 a.m.
And don’t forget to check out the Bike Week L.A. web page to see what else is going on this week.
