More drainage system work is planned along the I-405 beginning tonight for about two weeks as part of the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project. Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) cameras will be used to document the existing conditions of the drainage system on the freeway and ramps between the I-10 and U.S. 101. As part of night-time work, drains will be cleaned and the grates will be welded down.
Here are the details from the project construction notice:
What: Freeway lane closures and ramp closures for the documentation and cleaning of drainage systems on the I-405 freeway.
When: Night time work will begin Wednesday, April 7, 2010, for approximately two weeks. This activity will take place between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
Where: #1 and #5 lanes along the San Diego Freeway (I-405) between the Santa Monica Freeway (I-10) and the Ventura Freeway (U.S.-101). CCTV work will be conducted in segments.
What to Expect:
- Detour signs will be posted where ramps closures occur.
