UPDATE: CCTV work along the southbound I-405 freeway between Wilshire and Sunset Boulevards will continue tonight (Tuesday, April 6), including ramp closures.

Tonight, April 5, construction crews on the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Project are planning to do some drainage system work  for one night only at two I-405  freeway locations.

As part of preconstruction activities,  Closed Circuit TV (CCTV) cameras will be used to document the existing conditions of the drainage system on the freeway and ramps.  Drains will be cleaned and the grates will be welded down.

Planned work will be conducted at these locations:

1. I-405 between Wilshire and Sunset Boulevards (Southbound Wilshire Boulevard ramps closed, Sunset Boulevard off-ramp closed.  Southbound I-405 will remain open to thru traffic).
2. Skirball Center Drive and Getty Center Drive (Southbound on and off-ramps at Skirball Center Drive and the southbound on-ramp at Getty Center Drive will remain open and accessible to and from the freeway).

Work is scheduled to begin at 9 p.m and be concluded by 6 a.m.
