Metro to conduct five community meetings for Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project March 23-31

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) will conduct five station area and maintenance facility planning workshops in late March as part of the environmental review process for the Crenshaw/LAX Transit Corridor Project.

The meetings, will take place March 23, 24, 25, 27, and 31, and will focus on different segments of the corridor and will present specific information on each of the seven planned stations plus an option for one more along the proposed 8.5 mile north-south light rail alignment between the Exposition Line and the Metro Green Line.

The public should note that each meeting will address a specific station or set of stations associated with the neighborhood where the meeting is held.

The same general information on maintenance facilities will be presented at every meeting, including an assessment of all new sites under study in this phase of analysis and an update from the maintenance facility meeting held February 24.
