The PowerPoint presentation that Metro staffers gave the public at last week’s meeting about whether to build a subway station at Crenshaw and Wilshire boulevards is online and available for download. It provides a basic overview of the subway planning process and the issues involved in whether a subway station should be built at Crenshaw.
The Crenshaw material begins on page 17. There’s also some pretty good slides that explain what kind of development is permitted in the area under the city of Los Angeles’ current zoning laws. Metro owns a parcel at the intersection and there are also slides explaining what role the property may play if the agency decides to build a station.
