The folks running the Westside Subway Extension projects are doing something smart and holding a lunchtime open house on Tuesday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2029 Century Park East in the Concourse Level Conference Center. For more details, click here.
And here’s a link to a Google map showing the location.
The idea of the open house is to give commuters who work in the Century City area but live elsewhere a chance to learn about the subway project and ask questions of Metro officials; there will also be some short presentations during the open house.
Century City will be one of the big stops along the line and the subway should provide a good way to reach Century City offices, particularly for east-west commuters and those connecting to the subway in downtown Los Angeles.
There is also an updated “frequently asked questions” section of the subway project website that is worth checking out.
