Goodbye rain and hello freeway construction: The northbound 405 freeway will be fully closed between the 10 freeway and Santa Monica Boulevard from midnight to 5 a.m. on Thursday morning as part of the project to build a carpool lane over the Sepulveda Pass. Ramp closures could begin as early as 8 p.m. and lane closures at 9 p.m.
