After three days of delays — the latest due to weather — work is set to begin tonight on the northbound 405 carpool lane project.

The work tonight will be on the stretch of freeway from the Santa Monica Freeway to Santa Monica Boulevard. Ramp closures are set to begin after 7 p.m., lane closures after 9 p.m. and the entire freeway in that stretch will be closed between midnight and 5 a.m. Friday morning.
