Metrolink posted this on their website at 2:15 this afternoon. If you’re headed over to Union Station, there could be short delays and it’s also wise to check which track your train is leaving from — a few trains were shifted earlier.
Update as of 2:15 pm
A test train will be operated over the two tracks that remain closed shortly and if the bridge passes the test successfully, those tracks will be reopened as well.
A handful of midday trains were delayed and two trains on the San Bernardino Line were canceled. Evening train riders may experience minor delays.
The agency also did a nice job all afternoon of posting updates on its Twitter page at www.twitter.com/metrolink. There’s a lot of train-specific info there.
