Sheriff’s deputies are investigating reports of falling concrete on the Cesar Chavez underpass beneath the Union Station tracks. A bus bridge is in the works for the Gold Line.

Here is the update from Metrolink’s website:

Metrolink has been instructed to stop all train movements into and out of Union Station due to a possible structural problem in the underpass where Cesar Chavez Avenue passes under the tracks at the north end of the depot.  Metro Gold Line service into and out of Union Station is also suspended at this time. Further updates will be provided as more information is made available.
