A Metro bus on the 92 line was hit by a pickup truck Monday evening in Echo Park about 9 p.m., according to Metro officials. Fourteen passengers were on the bus at the time of the accident and three were transported to the hospital with apparently minor injuries.

A pickup truck exiting the southbound 2 freeway apparently lost control, hit a guardrail and then slammed into the bus headed northbound on Glendale Boulevard.
