Blue Line Repairs Postponed

The Source last week reported slight delays on the Metro Blue Line due to a vehicular accident that damaged trackside signal equipment in Compton.  Here’s a link to an earlier post about the incident.

Repair work will not be done this upcoming weekend as initially reported. Metro Rail Operations says it is now planning to do the repair work in early to mid-January.

Until these repairs are completed, Blue Line trains will continue to stop at the Alondra grade crossing and proceeding when it is safe to do so. That will cost you about one minute of delay until then.
