Outdoor ice skating in Los Angeles? Without a car?

Just because it’s 78° outside and Los Angeles is the car capital of the world doesn’t mean you can’t find yourself skating on a sheet of ice in an outdoor skating rink that you got to by train.

In L.A. anything is possible.

On Monday LAist posted a map of all the outdoor holiday ice skating rinks in the Los Angeles area. There are seven. Awesome.

What the post didn’t mention was that all of these rinks are Metro accessible, and a few of them are really well served by both bus and rail.
