Here’s the thing about technology: when it works, it’s great. But sometimes it doesn’t and life becomes one big “page load error.”
As we posted yesterday, Metro was planning to have a new version of its website up and running Friday. But a serious server glitch has postponed those plans and web traffic is being re-routed back to the agency’s old website — although not everyone around town can access that.
The tech folks here at Metro are trying to resolve the problem, which has also affected access to The Source, as well as the web page that allows us to post new material to The Source.
All the issues will hopefully be solved soon. In the meantime, the agency apologizes to customers who are having difficulty seeing the metro.net website. The Source will be back with new posts on Monday.
Have a nice weekend,
