Blue Line

due to major Blue Line/Expo Construction, beginning at 8:30pm Friday and through Sunday Close, trains will operate only between Washington Station & Long Beach Transit Mall.  Trains will operate on regular schedule.  Shuttle Buses (Line 801) will operate between Washington Station & 7th/Metro Center.  Please be advised to allow up to 40 additional minutes to complete your trip and that work will occur over additional weekends; notices will be posted. See here for bus shuttle stop locations.

Gold Line

Due to vehicle testing after 9pm, southbound trains to East LA or Union Station may depart Sierra Madre Villa 2 minutes later than normal.

  • Southbound trains may depart Sierra Madre Villa at 9:22pm, 9:42pm, 10:02pm, 10:22pm and every 20 minutes until last train at 12:40am.
  • Southbound trips continuing to East LA Atlantic will depart on regular schedule from Union Station.
  • During this time, trains in both directions will share ONE track at Allen Station. Please check train destination signs and announcements before boarding.

Detours for Red Bull Soapbox Race

Due to Red Bull Soapbox Race, Metro may experience bus service delays and detours along Grand, Olive, and 5th St. Passengers are encouraged to use Metro Red & Purple Lines or allow extra travel time due to street closures and traffic congestion. Longer Red & Purple Line trains will be in operation on Saturday, May 21 beginning at 10am.

Due to track maintenance work after 8:30pm, trains from North Hollywood will depart 5 minutes later than regular schedule. Inbound trains to Union Station will depart North Hollywood at 8:59pm, 9:19pm, 9:39pm, and every 20 minutes until 12:39am, and then 12:54am. Times are approximate and subject to minor work related delays.

During this time, trains in both directions will share ONE track at Hollywood/Highland & Hollywood/Vine Stations. Please check train destination signs and announcements before boarding.

Due to track maintenance from 10am to 2pm, eastbound trains to Norwalk will run 4 minutes later than regular schedule.  Trains to Norwalk will depart Redondo Beach at 9:51am, 10:08am, 10:23am, 10:38am, 10:53am and every 15 minutes until 1:53pm, then regular schedule.

Gold Line

Due to maintenance occurring after 9pm, northbound trains from Atlantic to Union Station will operate 5 minutes earlier than regular schedule.  Trains will leave Atlantic at 10:00pm, 10:20pm, 10:40pm and every 20 minutes until close.  Northbound trains will hold for up to 10 minutes upon arrival at Union Station and depart on regular schedule from Union Station.

During this time, trains in both directions will share East LA Atlantic bound track at Maravilla & East LA Civic Ctr stations. Please check train destination signs and announcements before boarding.

El Monte Station Weekend Closure

Due to construction in the Temporary El Monte Station Terminal, Foothill Transit boarding locations for Lines 178, 448, 492 will be temporarily moved outside the station to Santa Anita Ave. & Ramona Blvd. Line 269 will board at Bay 11. Metro boarding locations are unaffected. See here for map and further information.
