A tale from the Twin Cities: a veteran talks about transit

This was originally posted by the Metropolitan Council, the planning agency for the Minneapolis-St. Paul region in Minnesota. With Veteran’s Day approaching, it’s certainly on topic. And the woman in the video mentions something I think is great — in the Twin Cities, veteran’s with a service-related disability ride for free. For the sake of comparison, Metro offers discounted fares to seniors (62 and over), students, the disabled, those on Medicare and those with low incomes. More on discounts on our fare page.
