Here are the Metro Art Presents events happening in July

Here are your Metro Art July events, all of which are free and open to the public.

  • Saturday, July 2: Metro Rail art tour. Meet at the entrance of Hollywood/Highland Station at 10 a.m. The tour is approximately 2 hours.
  • Sunday, July 3: Union Station art tour. Meet at the Union Station information booth by the Alameda Street entrance at 10 a.m. The tour is approximately 2 hours.
  • Saturday, July 9: Union Station art tour…¡en español! Meet at the Union Station information booth by the Alameda Street entrance at 10 a.m. The tour is approximately 2 hours.
  • Sunday, July 10: Union Station art tour. Meet at the Union Station information booth by the Alameda Street entrance at 10 a.m. The tour is approximately 2 hours.
  • Sunday, July 10: The Floor + The Open Floor Society leads the dance at inside the Union Station Historic Ticketing Hall. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. Workshops and dancing take place from from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Friday, July 15: Enjoy a performance by Brainstory: one part Jazz, one part Psychedelia, equal-parts Soul. The band plays from 4 to 6 p.m. inside the waiting room.
  • Sunday, July 17: the celebration of Expo’s opening to Santa Monica continue with a day of art and music. Live music and DJ set take place from 3 to 5 p.m. on the north patio.
  • Friday, July 22: Son MayorChangüí Majadero bring salsa to Union Station. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. with music and dancing from 8 to 11 p.m. inside the Historic Ticketing Hall.
  • Wednesday, July 27:  Classic jazz film Passing Through will be screening on the north patio from 8:30 to 10 p.m. The screening is part of a series with Los Angeles Filmforum.

Union Station is accessible via Metro Rail, Metro Bus and several municipal bus lines. Use the Trip Planner for routes and connections. Bicycle parking is also available on site.
