If one has 2 people in a car, does one need a sensor in a car ever? My husband and I travel at times to the downtown area monthly but we are always together and use the HOV lanes, will we ever need the sensor to purchase?

Yes, every vehicle that uses the ExpressLanes must have a transponder.
