During peak hours on the I-10 freeway you can travel the ExpressLanes toll free with 3+ in the car. But ALL vehicles are required to have a FasTrak transponder to use the ExpressLanes. If you use the ExpressLanes without a transponder you risk a violation notice or being cited by the CHP. Please visit the ExpressLanes website for options on how to get a transponder.
