The art of transit

Great street scene in Hong Kong, taken in 2005. There’s a lot going on transpo-wise in this photo, which also shows off Hong Kong’s density.

  1. Yes, Hong Kong has many forms of public transit – I see in this photo, a Double Decker bus, a Tram, a Public Light bus in the lower right corner (that goes up and down the hills) also a taxi in the lower left corner as well as private cars. What is not shown is the fantastic subway – clean, safe, reliable and air conditioned as well as the Star Ferry. The nice thing about good public transit in this very crowded city is the fact that you do not have to park the public transit in a city with few parking spots.
