Gold Line service resumes

Gold Line service has been resumed, following an accident earlier this afternoon.

At approximately 1:08 p.m. a northbound Metro Gold Line train and an auto collided at the Glenarm crossing north of Mission Station. The car overturned on both train tracks. One male in the auto was transported to a local hospital; two passengers from the train were treated at the scene and released. Train service was disrupted for about 2 hours.

The accident is under investigation.
